Isolcell Italia offers a new range of nitrogen generators. ADOX VSA nitrogen generators is a molecular sieves (CMS) nitrogen generator operating at low pressure. Its particular vacuum-regeneration helps in lowering the energy consumption.
Nimos VSA nitrogen generators uses the storage atmosphere to produce nitrogen and therefore improve the performance up to 50%.
The functioning of the generator is controlled by an oxygen analyzer and a microprocessor.

The new line of nitrogen generators is at the forefront of the market of machines using Pressure Swing Absorption technology. The formula for this success comes from experience gained in 50 years of technological development and production of machinery for the treatment and modification of gaseous mixtures.

PSA nitrogen generators technology can achieve nitrogen at very high purities (from 98 to 99,99%) at reduced costs. Nitrogen generators of PSA type use tanks containing special carbon molecular sieves capable of removing the oxygen from compressed air (7-10 bar), which is dried and filtered and is forced alternatively in the oxygen separating tanks.
The machine, expandable and modular, completely automatic, is equipped with an oxygen analyser and a microprocessor controlling the process. Thanks to the new construction criteria researched and developed with the aid of CAD programs and fluid dynamics simulations, these PSA nitrogen generators are placed at the top of the category due to the excellent ratio of energy consumption/produced nitrogen.

This nitrogen generator ISOSEP is a membrane system; it is based on the principle of molecular separation of atmospheric gases, whereby the major part is nitrogen (78% appr.)
The nitrogen generation unit has to be connected to a compressed air circuit; the compressed atmospheric air is forced through a system of hollow fibre membranes. Because of its specific molecular size, nitrogen does not easily permeate and thus becomes separated from the other gases. The purity can be set by adjusting the backpressure.
It is a static system, it does not require compressed air to be dry and it is suited to “pull down” in CA stores, or for any other purpose where nitrogen without combustible gas residues is needed (CO2, CO, Nox, SO2, C2H2, etc.)
The generator is equipped with an oxygen analyzer, that allows the regulation of the required nitrogen purity.
